Welcome to Petersfield Aero Modellers

Petersfield Aero Modellers was founded in 1972 by the current President together with a few like minded flying enthusiasts. Over the years this small club has built a big reputation in the local area and many of the founder members are still active flyers.

The objective of the Club is for its members to get the maximum enjoyment from aero modelling in a friendly atmosphere and with the minimum of bureaucracy and regulation. This is achieved whilst continuing to preserve a safe flying environment.

The Club benefits from a fantastic site on Chidden Down, just outside Petersfield. The site has outstanding views over to the Isle of White and to the North of Hampshire. The main club flying session is on Sunday morning from 10 a.m. although there is unrestricted flying for members seven days a week.

If you are thinking of taking up a new hobby or returning after a long break, come along on Sunday morning to have a look and meet some of the members.
