One of the most important assets of any model club is its flying field or 'Patch'. To ensure the continued use of this location for flying, there are a number club rules and regulations, see club rules.
The club flying field is located just outside Clanfield near HMS Mercury. There are outstanding views over north Hampshire and south to the Isle of Wight.

To keep numbers at the flying field manageable the club has a restricted membership, but the current numbers are always varying.
